With a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and advanced degrees in Education, his academic journey has significantly influenced his career. With roots that trace back to the vibrant city of San Francisco, Jeff's sense of self is deeply shaped by his Chinese heritage. His strong connection with his brother underscores the paramount importance of family in his life. When he's not delving into the intricacies of project research, Jeff immerses himself in the world of flavors through cooking, explores the beauty of nature on hiking trails, and lovingly tends to a wide array of plants and flowers. Jeff has a Bachelor's degree in Natural Science and has a dedicated focus on conservation and sustainability, viewing them as essential components of his personal and professional journey.

Born on O'ahu with a diverse heritage, Joseph's journey spans the U.S., from East to West, and from the Big Island to O'ahu. This journey has enriched his perspective with a diverse array of experiences, including dedicated service in the U.S. Navy, a mission abroad, and years in IT and Human Resources at a local bank. His most precious jewels are his four beloved children and five cherished grandchildren. Kai Polū Creations ignites Joseph's passion. Sustainability isn't just about a better life for him and his partners -- it's the heart and soul of their mission. They promote equity, unity, and environmental protection through sustainable, reusable products.
